It Helps to Know Before You Grow - Intentional Living Design

♥ One of our greatest mysteries in life lies within the paradigm of what are we supposed to be doing in this life form. What is our true calling? Are there more than one directions I can choose or just one? How often can I change? Am I just to know once and for all or is it an ongoing seeking exercise reflecting what is going on in my life at the time?

Well, those are some “real” questions – with answers that can only be addressed individually – soul by soul. Sometimes we may feel like a “cookie cutter” approach to building our lives would be so much simpler. Somebody to tell us what to do, hand feed us the instructions so we can live happily ever after? Not likely to happen even if somebody is willing. And we all know there are people willing to tell us how to live and structure our life.

Why does this not lead to happiness? Because each of us has a unique code, message, or calling that has embedded inside of who we are from the beginning. And it is possible that we continue to shape and mold this inner calling throughout life as we continue to learn more about who we truly are – from our Core Authentic Origins. As long as we stay open to who we truly are, answers/clues remain available to us.

So do we create or build living structures moment to moment to form that which we call “our life” or do we actually “rediscover” who we are from the beginning and form our experiences and life around this psycho-spiritual blueprint? My hunch is that both premises are true.

We are co-creators in our life. The Law of Attraction speaks to this and Power of Intention research indicates that we have powers of creation even outside of our own awareness and lives to even affect lives of others- even across geographical boundaries.

So where do we start? We start with beginning to understand our true essence.

And the essence of who we truly are can only be experienced in the Moment – just as everything else in our lives we experience.

So it makes sense that since life can only be experienced in the moment and understanding who we truly are can only be experienced in the moment, that we may want to make sure that we are taking the time each moment – and this moment – and this moment – to actually be there.

Mindfulness, slowing down, breathing deeply, quieting distractions, and being totally present in what we are doing at that moment has wonderful payoffs for our life as we live it!

Over time, as we learn to be in that moment fully in all sense of our Senses, to assist us in becoming the master architect for the life that mirrors our greatest passion and potential. By opening up to myself in silence and accepting more of me, I create space for my moment oriented life to naturally follow a path that reflects Who I Really Am that reflects my masterpiece life based on my True Authentic Spiritual Self.

And now I can Intentionally create my life – moment by moment.

Yes, it sure does help to know Me before I grow Me.

That Elusive Love We Were Meant to Experience

You know, each of us came into this world in a similar way - loved from God/Source as perfect in our own way as who we are with great potential.

While we may instinctively know some of this on some level, it does get chipped away as we make our way through childhood, those feisty adolescent years, they young adult years, and so on and on….Our image of ourselves got sort of chipped away no matter how effective or ineffective our caretakers were in accepting us, how many or few friends we had that embraced us, and how our significant partners reflected our potential.

That is the reality of it. We do the best we can or many of us do. So we are left with this perceived problem that we rarely or never really feel totally accepted or loved. Valentines Day is a great celebration to remember where we start here.

Gary Zukav said, “Unconditional love is of the Soul, instantaneous, universal, not bound.” The love we seek is the love we offer and it starts with our relationship with ourselves, and who we are right now and always has been, just as we were from the start: the unlimited and perfect potential of you.

As we embrace ourselves intimately, we both consciously and unconsciously invite the world to love us for who we are and what we are capable of instead of conditional standards we may have adopted during our “not as aware” years.

Practice being aware of all you are. Love like your God/Source. Be tolerant. Be accepting. Be a loving influence. But first Love Yourself as you were originally loved and love yourself now as you are now loved from above – and be that Loving Source to others.

We have the power and choice to rise above the smaller insecure aspects of our Self. When we make a conscious choice to rise to our potential, we are loved and simultaneously become a loving force.

It’s hard work and it’s something to work on moment to moment, day to day. But I say, let the journey begin. Your Love Awaits and Others Await Your Love.

Buddha said, “You, yourself, as much as anybody else in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”

You and those in your world deserve it!
